The objective of the European Commission Initiative on Prostate Cancer (PrC) is to develop evidence-based recommendations for cancer screening and diagnosis, and a voluntary European quality assurance scheme for prostate cancer care services.
Based on the latest scientific evidence available, the EC Initiative on PrC seeks to offer clear and independent guidance on screening and care to healthcare providers and individuals.
Published call for tenders
An open call for tenders was published to identify a collaborator that will support the activities of the European Commission Initiative on Prostate Cancer (EC-PrC). The aim is to develop the first set of evidence-based European guidelines and quality requirements for screening and diagnosis of prostate cancer.
The adopted methodological approach will be aligned with the ongoing EC initiatives on breast, colorectal and cervical cancers.
