Meeting of the EC initiative on Colorectal Cancer (ECICC) Working Group (WG)

The ECICC Working group (WG) has met online during the 9 to 11 June 2026. During this decision-making meeting, the ECICC WG approved a full set of requirements for the Fecal Immunochemical Test (FIT) screening test and approved 2 requirements for Pathology as part of the development of the European Quality Assurance scheme. Management of premalignant lesions, FIT thresholds, and colonoscopic surveillance post adenoma-removal were discussed as part of the development of the European Colorectal cancer guidelines.
