Work on the European Commission Initiative on Prostate Cancer is underway

The European Commission Initiative on Prostate Cancer (EC-PrC) aims to develop evidence-based guidelines and a quality assurance scheme for prostate cancer, building on the methodology and experience of the already existing European Commission initiatives on cancer screening and care.

Verian Lithuania, a global policy research and evaluation agency has been contracted to support the JRC in establishing the initiative and in delivering its first outputs. The work has already started and the working group will be soon appointed.
