Cancer Screening, Diagnosis and Care

EC-CvC working groups

EC-CvC is supported by an Expert Working Group and topic-specific groups composed of clinicians, epidemiologists, researchers, patient representatives and other experts who joined the initiative on a voluntary basis following a public call.

Members

To ensure the highest integrity and public confidence in its activities, the members disclose any circumstances, such as financial or professional interests or activities, that could give rise to a conflict of interest relevant to the project, on an annual basis.

The groups supporting the EC Initiative on Cervical Cancer are:

  • An expert working group, which acts as the decision-making body to finalise the recommendation and requirement proposals from the topic-specific groups.
  • Topic-specific groups, which work predominantly on specific healthcare questions and requirements with the support of independent experts. These topic-specific groups have a limited duration and provide systematic reviews to develop proposals for review by the working group.
